Terms and conditons

Course booking terms and conditions

Age Requirement:

- All students must be 16 years or older to enrol in the course.

2. Booking and Payment:

- A non-refundable, non-transferable deposit is required to secure your place.

 You can book via the website or via your chosen tutor direct. Your booking is between yourself and your tutor. They will have their own booking terms and conditions. Your kit purchase/payment via the website is your confirmation that you are booking your course. All further payments will be paid direct to your tutor and they will give you details of this.

 

    All kits will be sent to your tutor and will be available on the first class. 

 

    Full payment must be received one week prior to the course start date, unless an alternative payment plan has been agreed with your tutor. Payment plans must be discussed directly with your chosen tutor prior to booking.

  3. Cancellation and Rescheduling:

   - In the event of cancellation by the student, any payments made are non-refundable.

   - Rescheduling requests must be made direct to your tutor as your booking is with them. They will have their own policy for this. 

   - Rachael Wilders Education or your tutor reserve the right to reschedule or cancel courses if absolutely necessary, in which case alternative dates or a full refund will be offered.

4. Course Requirements:

- Students are required to participate in both practical and theory-based home study.

- Case studies must be submitted for assessment within the agreed timeframe to complete the course.

    Classroom students may be required to work on their own nails, models nails, and those of other students during the practical sessions.

    Online students may be required to work on their own nails and model nails during the online sessions.

    Both classroom and online students for longer classes (more than one day) will be asked to compete models/case studies in their own time to complete their course. In the case of shorter courses, students may be asked to complete models/case studies to complete their course. 

    Both classroom and online students will be expected to complete theory work in their own time. 

 

5. Health and Safety:

 

    All students are required to follow the tutors health and safety guidelines during classroom sessions.

 

    All students for online classes will be given a guide to health and safety to follow during classes. 

 

    Please notify us or your tutor of any allergies, or medical conditions prior to attending the course.

 

    If you require additional support for learning, please inform us or your tutor prior to the start of your class. 

 

6. Certification:

- Certificates will only be awarded upon successful completion of the course, including submission and approval of case studies and assignments.

- Digital certificates are provided at no extra cost, while printed certificates are available for an additional fee.

 

7. Intellectual Property:

- Course materials, including manuals, are for personal use only and must not be reproduced, distributed, or shared without written permission from Rachael Wilders Education.

8. Code of Conduct:

- All students are expected to behave in a professional and respectful manner throughout the course.

- Rachael Wilders Education or the tutor reserves the right to remove any student from the course without refund if their behaviour is deemed inappropriate or disruptive.

9. Liability:

- Rachael Wilders Education is not responsible for any personal injuries, loss, or damage to personal property that occurs during the course. 

10: Accreditation: 

    All classes whether classroom or live online are accredited with Professional Beauty Direct, allowing you to purchase insurance to work on the general public upon successful completion of your course. Some workshops are not accredited and are cpd only, this will be clearly stated on the description.
